Sasson from Levinski
The Levinski Market is a culinary institution that is primarily famed for its endless offering of rare spices. As a result, many of its vendors have become somewhat of an institution. Sasson & Co. started out as a specialty stall for dried fruits and dates, and has become a global manufacturer of dried fruits. The company is now a subsidiary of Tnuva, one of Israel’s 3 largest food manufacturers and exports its product globally.
The studio devised an elaborate design based on a vibrant red as a lead color and to this added a complimentary palette of primary colors for the product differentiation. The use of these primary colors was a calculated investment to make the line stand out on the shelves. We made use of the Halutzim font, (In Hebrew, pioneer) which contains both traditional and modern properties.
We are currently in the midst of developing an entire range of dried fruit products intended for local mass market.
