Our studio proudly provided creative direction and design services for the posters and promotional materials for Turandot, the last of Giacomo Puccini's operas, performed in concert form at the Israel Philharmonic and conducted by Zubin Mehta. The opera is set in China and tells the story of Prince Calaf who in order to win the hand in marriage of Princess Turandot, he must answer three riddles. In his case, a wrong answer results in death. The concept behind the visuals created for the concert maintain the original imagery of Princess Turandot's face with a modern interpretation of charms on her earrings hinting at what awaits should a riddle be answered incorrectly.
