
We had the honor of leading the complete branding process for Meriam – MerYam, from concept to visual execution.
The logo and visual language draw inspiration from 1970s home recipe books—passed hand to hand, handwritten, and deeply rooted in domestic tradition. This influence shaped a brand language defined by warmth, authenticity, and understated simplicity.
The name MerYam connects the sea—the source of the kitchen’s core ingredients—with the name of Cohen’s mother. The restaurant embodies an open culinary philosophy, fostering a direct dialogue between chef and guest, and between kitchen and space. A transparent pastry lab alongside the kitchen completes a holistic experience where food, space, and identity converge.
